A Spirited Event
The San Antonio Wine Competition, an unprecedented wine judging, is now celebrating its tenth year.
Our goals are to identify the finest wines ranging from various regions
and inform the public of the notable wineries and their products. The competition will be held at the La Quinta Inn & Suites Conference Center
on January 30, 2010.
All national and international professional wineries are encouraged to compete. To enter the San Antonio Wine Competition a formal entry or entries (one entry per brand name or label) must be submitted by January 21, 2010. An entry fee of $35 per label will be required by the entry deadline date. Three bottles of wine per label must be delivered to the La Quinta Inn & Suites Conference Center no later than Thursday, January 28, 5:00 p.m.
The Wines
Wines will be grouped into over 40 different categories for judging.
Wine Entries
To enter the San Antonio Wine Competition, download and complete the
entry form. Please complete the form, save and return via email to jcostello@klrn.org. All entry forms must be submitted by Thursday, January 21.
Payment is also required at the time of entry. Please complete the payment form and return via fax to John Costello at 210.270.9078.
Three bottles per wine label are required. Wine entries must be delivered to the La Quinta Inn & Suites Conference Center no later than Thursday, January 28, 5:00 p.m.

Do I need to pre-pay?
Yes. In order for your wines to proceed to the Wine Competition you'll need to pay for each entry with a credit card. Enter your credit card information on the payment form and fax to John Costello at 210.270.9078.

How many bottles of wine must I submit?
Three bottles per wine label are required.

We will gather a highly experienced and talented panel of judges to participate in the 2010 San Antonio Wine Competition. Our judges have cumulative expertise in writing reviews about wine, restaurant and retail buyers, wine educators and various wine connoisseurs. The diverse backgrounds of these judges ensures a balanced selection of gold, silver and
bronze medalists.
