A Spirited Event

The San Antonio Wine Competition is an unprecedented wine judging, which is now in its seventh year.

Our goals are to identify the finest wines ranging from various regions and inform the public of the notable wineries and their products. The competition will be held at the beautiful Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort & Spa on
January 26, 2008.

All national and international professional wineries are encouraged to compete. To enter the San Antonio Wine Competition a formal entry or entries (one entry per brand name or label) must be submitted online by January 17, 2008. An entry fee of $35 per label will be required by the entry deadline date. Three bottles of wine per label must be delivered to the Hyatt Hill Country Resort & Spa no later than Thursday, January 24, 5:00 p.m.

The Wines

Wines will be grouped into the following categories for judging:

SPANISH STYLE RED WINES
BLUSH/ROSE WINE

Frequently Asked Questions

My wine entries won't submit. What should I do?
When you hit the submit button and nothing happens, please go back up to make sure you have entered all the required fields.

Do I need to pre-pay?
Yes. In order for your wines to prceed to the Wine Competition you'll need to pay for each entry on-line with a credit card.

How do I know if our entries aren't paid?
If the coins next to your entries are colored gold then you haven't paid for your wine entries. There will also be a date listed in the paid column for when payment is completed.

We will gather a highly experienced and talented panel of judges to participate in the 2008 San Antonio Wine Competition. Our judges have cumulative expertise in writing reviews about wine, restaurant and retail buyers, wine educators and various wine connoisseurs.
